The room was spacious and clean, with a lovely garden area to unwind. The staff were really nice too, exceeding my expectations.

The comfort room is airy with snacks, free mobility ticket for public transport and lovely view over archway to old town. The venue has particularly good location on the outskirts of the Old Town.

I loved the spacious Junior Suite and the lovely garden area. The breakfast was good, with fresh pastries. Only downside was the pillows, they were too soft for my liking 😊

I loved it all! New rooms, very big and in impeccable condition. The bed was very comfortable, it was nice to sleep in. Great views of the city. Perfect WiFi connection. . They leave a welcome card in the room and when I saw it I was pleasantly surprised. They also give you a card with which public transport is free. The hotel staff is of honorary registration. They treated me great from the first moment and helped me with everything I needed. It's great to meet people like that! The hotel is very well located (central). There is a train and tram stop right in front of the hotel. They have a free bike service. Also from the hotel you can walk to any place in the center because of its great location. I was pleasantly surprised with the Spalentor Hotel and Basel!

I have nothing negative to say because I liked everything.

We loved the room at the top floor and the curtesy at the reception. The location was very convenient for leisure and business. We will recommend the hotel to friends and use as reference for future trips to Basel

The location was perfect for visiting both the enchanting Basel Tattoo and the lovely International Circus Festival. The staff were friendly and helped us with dinner reservations on a holiday. Plus, borrowing bikes from the hotel.

I was traveling with my mother. I liked this hotel very much in general, it really was an accidental choice because I was in an emergency and had to stay in Basel and I met a staff, at the reception in the different schedules and in the dining room, extremely friendly. They all speak English, allowed me to communicate with them and one of them also spoke Spanish, so it was even easier and more comfortable to communicate. They were very explicit about all the information, about the hotel and places I could visit and places to eat. room was spacious and bed very comfortable. Everything at all was very clean. bathroom, in the room and in the reception, was very well equipped and they had the courtesy to keep our luggage until we went to the airport and explained to us in detail how to leave. Within the difficulties of the flight, was a magnificent experience and I recommend it 100%.

Very good hotel, 10 min walk down to center, free transportation ticket during stay, very good breakfast, nice personnel, big rooms, good beds, playroom for kids and fitness for all.

Excellent helpful staff, a nice friendly feeling about the hotel. Great to have free WiFi, and a nice bar with outside garden area.

As it was very warm weather, a fan in the room would have been nice.
